THURSDAY
1PM to 3PM
Free workshop to discuss and share information about mushrooms and how they can help us during this post Hurricane Helene time. Natalie of Mycorhizing and Greg of Deep Woods Mushrooms bring their passion and experience to the table. There will also be an optional shitake log plugging opportunity. BRING YOUR OWN LOG. Oak is best and given the recent storm we all have a few oak limbs laying around. The best size is approx 3 feet long and 3" to 6" in diameter for plugging. Tools and spores to plug will be provided at the event. This should be a fun afternoon. No purchase necessary but our store will be open regular hours if you want to enjoy some refreshments before or after the event.
Easter Egg Hunt & Field Day
Date: Saturday April 19th in 2025
This is a new event for us. We are hosting an ambitious Easter Egg Hunt during our first annual Field Day. Do you remember with nostalgia the good old field day at school when you were a kid? The potato sack race, egg and spoon race, 50 yard dash and you went home with a ribbon or two. We are going for that feel with lots of kids activities, an Easter Egg hunt, soccer, bubbles, and tie dyes. How much more fun can you have? More details to come as we plot and plan over the winter.
